K2 की बात करें तो यह 8,000 मीटर से अधिक ऊंची एकमात्र पर्वत चोटी है. जिस पर सर्दियों के मौसम में अब तक नहीं पहुंचा जा सका था. लेकिन नेपाली पर्वतारोहियों की टीम ने शनिवार को इसे फतह कर इतिहास रच दिया. इसकी ऊंचाई 8,611 मीटर है.
