जेलेंस्की का मानना है कि अगर एक बार युद्ध रुक गया तो फिर से युद्ध शुरू करना उनके लिए आसान नहीं होगा. यह सिर्फ सैनिक दृष्टि से ही नहीं, बल्कि आर्थिक, सामाजिक और वैश्विक दबाव की वजह से भी मुश्किल होगा. इसलिए पुतिन फिलहाल युद्ध जारी रखना चाह रहे हैं.
